There are two big events coming up for District officers in November so make sure you put these dates in your diary.
The first is the District Council Meeting which is being held at the semi-annual convention on Saturday the 18th of November, 2017. The semi-annual convention is running from 9.00am to 5.00pm on that date with the council meeting running from 10.00am – 1.00pm. It’s important to attend the council meeting as a district officer even if you’re not attending the semi-annual convention. There’s no cost to attend if you’re just turning up at the council meeting.
The venue for the semi-annual convention is the City Convention Centre, Level 12, Victoria University City Flinders Campus, 300 Flinders Street, Melbourne.
The Second Round of District Officer Training is being held the next day on Sunday the 19th of November 2017 from 10:30am – 4:00pm. The venue for this is the Nurses Memorial ‐ 431 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne (Enter via Slater Street). On that day the program will include:
- Parliamentary Procedure
- Train the Trainer session
- Pathway
- D73 Future and Strategy
- Networking
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
