mark-3-landHave you ever wanted to be the Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking?

It’s a dream shared by many that is achieved by few, but hearing first hand from a champion can give you that edge that you so desperately need.

The guest of honour for our 2017 District 73 Annual Convention is Mark Hunter, a man who was able to turn his dream into reality. In 2009, Mark become the Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking. At our annual convention, he will share his secrets on how to make that dream come true.

Mark Hunter truly exemplifies our convention theme of Find Your Inner Hero. Despite being confined to a wheelchair after a skiing accident at the age of 22, Mark has built an amazing life. Employed as an educator for over thirty years, he has worked as an executive coach and represented Australia six times in Toastmasters world championships.

Truly, he has shown that determination, goal setting, and his tried and proven techniques are what have made the difference in his life.

The convention is being held at the beautiful Carlton Rydges hotel in Swanston Street, Melbourne from the 19th to the 21st of May, 2017.

Here is the dedicated website for the convention:

There’s also a gala dinner to attend. It is a 3 course meal with a 4 hour drinks package. The theme for the dinner is heroes. We’re encouraging you to dress up for the event. Will you be Superman? Amelia Earhart? Indiana Jones?

Book now, meet Mark Hunter, Find Your Inner Hero – and maybe you can be the next Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking.
