We appreciate our fellow Toastmasters for all that YOU do!
This month started with our District 73 DEC (District Executive Committee) & DCM (District Council Members) Meetings. We had a healthy engagement and everyone’s time and presence was highly appreciated as it contributed in an outcome that resonated with all our District & Club Leadership.
Our strategic plans were endorsed and received well by this leadership group. The budget has been accepted with clarity on all line items listed in this year’s budget. There is a clear explanation on what are our plans around contest formats (Clubs, Area, Divisions & District) in this Newsletter. You might have received a detailed comms from our Program Quality Director – Kevin Broughton DTM on 14 Sept 2022.
There are trainings lined up for our members throughout the year and I would highly recommend all our members to take full advantage of your District 73 trainers present in those trainings. It is also a great opportunity for you to get to know your fellow District 73 members and build your network. This also gives you a great networking platform to call for contest judges, contest support, hybrid event support.
One last thing before I sign-off for September Month – Please share all your club members and executives wins and achievements in your club events or Area events or any District events. Recognise the volunteering efforts put forth by each of our members. #AMPLIFY and #APPRECIATE your fellow Toastmasters!!
