For most members, Toastmasters is the group of people that they see at the club meeting. It’s a supportive environment where people help each other to become better speakers and leaders.

In reality, the organisation is much larger with policies, procedures, and a structure that enables more than 300,000 members to work together to help the organisation achieve its goals.

The club that you’re a member of is part of an area. This sits inside a division which sits inside a district.

There are different leadership roles at each level. Just as there are leaders at a club, there are also leaders whose responsibilities span great distances, and large numbers of people.
